Misfits (Hulu, 8 p.m.): Actually, the third series premiere of Misfits is up at Hulu right now, but our weekly coverage from Rowan Kaiser will be going up at 8 p.m. Eastern, much as it always has. The Misfits gang has new powers, and our British friends insist the show hasn’t lost a step this year, which has us salivating for even more fun. REGULAR COVERAGE
Terra Nova (Fox, 8 p.m.): Rowan is pretty much the only person we’re making work today, as he has to cover the two-hour season finale of this dinosaur epic. It will almost certainly be the series finale, too, so enjoy the inanity while you can.
TV CLUB CLASSIC
Scrubs (11 a.m.): Myles McNutt has been waiting all this time for the episode featuring Carrot Top because there’s nothing more he loves than hacky prop comedy. You may think we’re joking, but we’re totally not. Just ask him!
Justice League (1 p.m.): Normally, we’d look up what this is about on Wikipedia, but this one’s called “Fury,” so we feel quite confident that it’s about Dr. Nick Fury, and… oh. Oliver Sava informs us that Nick Fury is a Marvel character. Carry on then.
TV CLUB ADVENT CALENDAR
The Star Wars Holiday Special (Sunday): Yes, it’s almost too easy to make fun of this special. Yes, it’s one of the weirdest things to ever have aired on TV. But that doesn’t mean we didn’t relish having Emily Yoshida review it anyway.
WHAT ELSE IS ON?
Who’s Still Standing (NBC, 8 p.m.): How many “someone answers a question, and if wrong, they get dropped through a hole in the floor” game shows do we need, America? Todd VanDerWerff’s missing 2 Broke Girls, so he’ll review this instead.
Half-Ton Dad/Half-Ton Mom (OWN, 9 p.m.): Love and joy come to you, and to you your half-ton parents too. And Oprah wish you and send you a manipulative reality TV documentary, and Oprah send you a manipulative reality TV documentary.
The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills (Bravo, 9 p.m.): This has been kind of a horrific mess of a season, yet it was very, very hard to look away. That means we’re sending Emily Yoshida, our woman in the trenches, to go take a look at the pseudo-finale.
American Masters (PBS, 10 p.m.): PBS is programming a bunch of new stuff this week for some unfathomable reason, including this documentary about Charles and Ray Eames, for all of you who are huge fans. (Go on. We know you love them.)
Greenberg (HBO Signature, 9 p.m.): Ben Stiller went a little more low-key in this love-it-or-hate-it indie comedy, in which he plays a mentally unstable carpenter. Trust us. It’s significantly better than that sounds. We’re not playing you.
Scrooge (TCM, 10:15 p.m.): As with Scrooged, we feel that this musical version of A Christmas Carol wastes both a pretty rock-solid premise and a great cast in service of a bland, bloated version of the story. But some people swear by it, so there you go.
Monday Night Football: 49ers at Steelers (ESPN, 8:30 p.m.): All along, we’ve been saying, “God, if Alex Smith could just get a team behind him, he might be pretty great!” And it turned out we were wrong about that. He was merely average. Sorry.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
Survivor (Sunday): It was a big night of finales, but the most momentous of all—okay, a Survivor finale can’t really be “momentous” anymore, but bear with us—was this one, and Carrie Raisler was thrilled just to have the God-talk-heavy season over.
