Moby + Debbie Harry = New song
Moby has a new greatest hits collection called Go: The Very Best Of Moby coming out. Greatest hits collections need fan-luring new material. And thus was a born a collaboration with Blondie frontwoman Debbie Harry according to NME.com. The song is called "New York, New York" but does not seem to be a cover of Frank Sinatra's "Theme From New York, New York."
Here's Harry's passionate acccount of the collaboration: "We both live in the city and I love all the inspiration it's given each of us. Moby has a strong artistic vision but he was also willing to listen to any suggestions that I had which made me feel a real part of the song. I hope we can do more in the future."
The single will be released October 23rd. Go comes out November 6th. Listen for it in a coffee shop near you from now until whenever Norah Jones' next album comes out.
