Monolith lineup announced
The second annual Monolith Music Festival–which will be held at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater, just outside this reporter's hometown of Denver on September 13 and 14–has announced its lineup. Joining headliners Justice and Colorado's own DeVotchKa will be TV On The Radio, Silversun Pickups, Band Of (goddamn) Horses, Vampire Weekend, Neko Case, The Avett Brothers, CSS, Tokyo Police Club, The Bronx, Tilly And The Wall, Mickey Avalon, Del Tha Funky Homosapien, Cut Copy, The Fratellis, Superdrag, The Kills, Holy Fuck, White Denim, A Place To Bury Strangers, John Vanderslice, Darker My Love, Blitzen Trapper, and many others. Who I'm personally looking forward to: Sharon Jones And The Dap-Kings, The Night Marchers, and Akron/Family. (The full lineup is posted here.) By the way, that's a mere two weeks after the Democratic National Convention hits Denver; sorry if the city is still scraping Hillary Clinton's carcass off East Colfax.
