More Feelies reissues on the way
New Jersey post-punk jangle-merchants The Feelies were a significant influence on the college-rock sound of the '80s (including R.E.M., whose guitarist Peter Buck was a huge Feelies fan) and over the course of the decade they released four albums of uniformly strong quality, only one of which (1988's Only Life) is currently in print. That'll change on September 8th, when Bar None reissues the band's classic 1980 debut Crazy Rhythms and their Buck-produced 1986 follow-up The Good Earth. Both albums will be presented on CD and vinyl with their original running order, but will include a download code so that buyers can access bonus tracks. Now if someone can get Time For A Witness back on the racks, all will be right with the world.
