It's the season of lists and superlatives, and here come two more.
Thom Yorke says his favorite song is "Unravel" by Bjork. He could mean that, or he could have said it to get an interviewer off the question. Just saying. (Spin via NME)
NME unveils its 2006 cool list. Actually, that's just a stupid page telling you to buy the magazine at UK newsstands. Thanks! Stereogum has the actual list, with The Gossip's Beth Ditto at the top and Liam Gallagher still somehow in the top 20. Carl Barat is ranked above former bandmate Pete Doherty, which is as good a ploy as any for reviving the pair's interminable NME-sponsored pissing match.
