Morrissey postpones remainder of U.S. tour due to his mother's illness

After postponing four October concerts last week, Morrissey has now done the same with the remainder of his North American tour, which was scheduled to run through mid-December. Usually when Morrissey misses shows—which he does pretty frequently—it's due to his own constitution, but this time he's returned to England to be at the bedside of his ailing mother. Sounds like a Smiths song, but we wish them both well. The dates will be rescheduled for sometime in the future; a little bird told us it might be January.
