Morrissey repackages, reevaluates the songs

In a Billboard article today, Morrissey's manager talked about a new album for 2008, a new record label to be announced soon–and a new Morrissey greatest-hits collection to be released next year. The compilation will join Bona Drag; World Of Morrissey; Suedehead: The Best Of Morrissey; My Early Burglary Years; The CD Singles, Vol. 1: 1988-1991; The CD Singles, Vol. 2: 1991-1995; and ¡The Best Of! Morrissey currently on the market. (For the record: That'll make eight compilations versus nine solo studio albums as of 2008.) Hearing "Suedehead" for the millionth time is all well and good, but buying it that many times… It's enough to make one feel decieved.
