Mötley Crüe faces the inevitable, announces Vegas residency
We always knew Mötley Crüe would follow in the footsteps of Rod Stewart and Celine Dion, and now it’s actually happening. The hard-rock heroes have announced plans to kick off their own Vegas residency this February. The Crüe will be in residency at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel And Casino Las Vegas from February 3 to February 19. Billed as “Vegas’ first-ever hard rock residency,” a press release for the run repeatedly touts it as an “interactive” experience. We’re not sure what that entails; maybe the audience gets to help prop up Nikki Sixx?
The band officially announced the residency last night on Piers Morgan Tonight, everyone’s go-to source for the latest in the world of hard rock; a full hour-long interview with the band airs tonight at 9 p.m. ET. In the meantime, check out the eye-blistering promo video for the Vegas gig. “After 3 decades of decadence they have done it all…almost,” the video proclaims. And really, what does Celine have on three decades of decadence?
