Mötley Crüe’s Vince Neil has his own arena football team now, too

Kiss is no longer the only hard rock act to own its own arena football team. Mötley Crüe’s Vince Neil has received approval from the Arena Football League to build a team in Las Vegas, a town so seedy and swimming in shameless branding, it’s amazing they haven’t been able to support an AFL team in the past. In fact, two teams—the Las Vegas Sting (1994-1995) and the Las Vegas Gladiators (2003-2007)—have come and gone in the desert town. Neil reportedly wants to call his team the Las Vegas Outlaws, and he’ll have to start from scratch, pulling players from whatever bouncer jobs they’re currently occupying. All that shouldn’t be a problem for Neil, seeing as how Mötley Crüe is currently out on the road for its legally binding farewell tour, and he’ll soon have plenty of downtime.
