Much to Dave Coulier’s dismay, Jagged Little Pill just sold its 15 millionth copy

People are still buying Jagged Little Pill. Alanis Morissette’s 1995 album just sold its 15 millionth copy in the United States, making it just the third record ever to do so—at least since Nielsen began tracking sales data in 1991. (Sorry, Thriller.) Interestingly, the record sold 4,000 copies last week, its best sales week since November 25, 2012, when it moved about 5,000. As DigitalTrends notes, the album’s two biggest singles, “You Oughta Know” and “Ironic,” have been streamed over 46 million times on Spotify.

The other two albums in the 15 million club are Metallica’s Metallica (16.1 million copies sold) and Shania Twain’s Come On Over (15.6 million).
