Mumford & Sons release new single, prove they still really like banjos
Über-popular banjo-plucking quartet Mumford & Sons released a track from its new record today. “I Will Wait” comes off Babel—due out Sept. 25—and while it’s no grand departure from any of the British band’s previous work, fans will be pleased just to have something new to listen to after spinning the band’s only record, Sigh No More, over and over since its release way back in 2009.
The band is currently still touring the country pre-Babel, playing theaters and its own Gentlemen Of The Road Stopovers for the rest of the summer.
