Muncie Girls float away in the “non-video” for “Balloon”

Introducing Endless Mode: A New Games & Anime Site from Paste
For the better part of four years, Muncie Girls have established themselves as an integral part of the the U.K.’s punk scene. After releasing various EPs, the trio has its debut album, From Caplan To Belsize, prepped and ready to be released by Animal Style Records in the U.S. (as well Specialist Subject Records and Uncle M Records throughout Europe). The A.V. Club is premiering the band’s “non-video” for “Balloon,” a track that clearly links the Exeter band to the bubbly punk of bands like Lemuria. The video’s non-concept sees Muncie Girls’ Lande Hekt hold a bright red balloon before letting go and letting it float skyward. It’s simple, but fits in nicely with the band’s pop-focused approach to punk.
