EW.com reports that the title of Nas' upcoming album will no longer go by the controversial title Nigger, according to his label Def Jam. The album, which streets July 1, will now be self-titled. This comes following claims by the rapper that he faced pressure to change the title, which were denied by label execs.
However, Nas says in a statement that he considers the album untitled, and that "The people will always know what the real title of this album is and what to call it."
