Nashville’s Vinyl Thief is awake in the “Middle Of The Night”

The A.V. Club has the premiere of the new single from Vinyl Thief, another Nashville-based buzz band. “Middle Of The Night” is the first track off the band’s new LP, Fathoms, due out later this month. The group’s frontman, Grayson Proctor, says “Middle” came about in the middle of the night toward the end of the Fathoms recording process. According to Proctor, the song was inspired by a sleepless night he had and the idea that “everyone around you is on pause and you get to experience things completely on your own.”

Vinyl Thief has two upcoming shows in New York. They’ll play a free show at the Brooklyn Bowl on July 21 and will celebrate the new album July 23 at the Mercury Lounge.
