Natasha Leggero and Riki Lindhome’s new Comedy Central show gives them Another Period

While mourning the loss of our beloved Garfunkel & Oates, fans of Riki Lindhome could take comfort in knowing that she was already set to star in the new Comedy Central series Another Period. Along with her co-star Natasha Leggero, this teaser features the ladies pulling the early 20th century version of a red carpet arrival, complete with Lindhome’s merkin-revealing paparazzi crotch shot. It’s not much, but it’ll have to tide us over until the show’s premiere on June 23. Billed as a reality TV spoof following dimwitted socialites in turn of the century America, the show also includes turns from Christina Hendricks, Michael Ian Black, Paget Brewster, and more. Here’s hoping the debut goes more smoothly than the flash of an old timey camera does for Leggero and Lindhome’s characters.
