Nathan Fillion might be in Guardians Of The Galaxy

Suggesting the Castle star doesn’t have anything better to do these days than make cameo appearances in stuff nerds like, Nathan Fillion recently hinted that he might be showing up in Marvel’s upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy film. Though, by “hinted,” we mean he basically came right out and said he is. As reported by Coming Soon, a fan took an opportunity during a panel at the St. Louis Comic Con to ask Fillion if he had wanted to get a part in Guardians Of The Galaxy, given his relationship with director James Gunn (for whom he’d appeared in Super and Slither). Fillion, ever the rogue, responded with: “Wanted to get a part? Or maybe did. I'm just saying maybe. Maybe it'll be a surprise. Maybe check the credits of the movie when you watch it.”

So he didn’t really confirm that he’d be in the movie… but c’mon. He’s totally maybe probably in the movie. Coming Soon theorizes that, given that Fillion said to “check the credits,” his cameo could either be extremely brief or buried under layers of crazy alien makeup. Still, there’s a chance he could pop up as a known comic-book character. Our guess is Firefly—even though he’s a Batman villain with absolutely no connection to Guardians Of The Galaxy—because Nathan Fillion would make a good criminal who likes to burn things. Also, he was in that show Firefly.
