Nazi mouse banned in Germany
Cartoonist Tom Scott's depiction of a cute, fuzzy mouse in full Nazi uniform has been banned by German book distributors. The illustration appears in a drug-education text titled The Great Brain Robbery, in a section that speaks of a university experiment in which mice were fed chemicals that made them, according to Scott, "fast, fearless, insanely amorous, and murderous." Ah, those Nazis and their insane amorousness. The German government, of course, banned the swastika in 1945.
No word yet on a possible crackdown on cats that look like Hitler.
