Given the way some of our staff members talk about it, we were under the impression that Harry Potter was already sort of for adults, but whatever: Deadline reports that NBC is currently developing a show described as “an adult Harry Potter set in a world ruled not by science but by magic” with Battlestar Galactica producer Ronald D. Moore. The drama—which landed a huge $2 million commitment from the network, so it seems like a lock—doesn’t currently have a title, but it should probably settle on one soon so as to avoid confusion with certain other, very NSFW “adult Harry Potter” projects.
