NBC dumps Krysten Ritter sitcom before it even airs

EW reports that NBC has decided to cut the Krysten RitterAnchorman in space” sitcom Mission Control from its lineup ahead of the show’s premiere. Produced by Adam McKay and Will Ferrell and written by It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia’s David Hornsby, Mission Control was initially ordered as a pilot, then as a series, with the presumed intent of debuting midseason. NBC made no promises about when Mission Control would air, however, and after firing series co-star Michael Rosenbaum has now dumped the show entirely, citing “casting issues” as the reason for the cut. Who’s the b—— now, NBC?
