NBC passes on Heroes movie
Those who thought all their lingering questions about Heroes might get answered in a proposed made-for-TV movie that would give some closure to the canceled series, you're out of luck. Says Hollywood Insider, NBC has turned down the Heroes film project, and you can pretty much bet on the fact that Heroes creator Tim Kring isn't going to pull a Firefly/Serenity stunt and shoot for the big screen. After Heroes was canceled last year following four seasons of dwindling ratings and senseless storylines, Kring sold a new script to NBC—III, a series about a foreign invasion of the United States—which failed to move past development.
