Fans of Friday Night Lights and other people with souls will be reassured to know that NBC has set a premiere date of April 15 for the show’s fifth and final season. That means only two and a half months more of resisting the temptation to read Keith Phipps’ write-ups and strenuously avoiding spoilers—any of which turn up here, it should be noted, will be subject to tough love of the Kyle Chandler-in-a-ball-cap variety. Don't be a dick, please. (Though of course, anyone who can't wait that long can also just get the whole fifth season on DVD come April 5.)
