Though it seems unable to just come right out and say that a show is canceled these days, NBC has suggested a slightly more definite end to Prime Suspect, the Maria Bello-starring, Americanized reboot of the classic British cop drama. Deadline reports that the show will shut down production this month, and while NBC executives have officially only said that they are “considering their options” on keeping it around, most people involved with the show have already been told that it’s over. But who will tell the hat?!
