Things between the Saviors and the Alexandria group really got off on the wrong foot last season on The Walking Dead, what with Daryl blowing up Negan’s people and things. But the surprisingly rules-oriented villain wants to put that behind him in this new promo, wherein he breaks down the new world order for Rick Grimes et al. Rather than argue over what belongs to Carol and what belongs to Jesus, Negan claims ownership over everything. It’s just easier this way, reasons the man known for bludgeoning people to death.
Negan claims to be “everywhere,” after all, but that probably doesn’t include The Kingdom. But someone’s fate has been sealed with a swing, though we won’t know who that is until The Walking Dead season seven premieres October 23. (And we had better learn that before the first commercial break.)
