Neil Patrick Harris lands some movie roles
The hardworking, Tony-hosting, sitcom-starring Neil Patrick Harris has a couple of movie roles in the works, The Hollywood Reporter reports. He'll be starring in the indie comedy The Best And The Brightest set in the cutthroat world of Manhattan kindergartens. Co-written and directed by Josh Shelov (making his second feature effort after the little-seen 2000 film Clowns), the film will also star Bonnie Somerville, Amy Sedaris, and John Hodgman.
Patrick will also play a supporting part in Beastly, an adaptation of a Beauty And The Beast-inspired novel by Alex Finn. Directed by Daniel Bernz, Beastly rounds out its cast with Vanessa Hudgens and one of the Olsen twins. (Does it matter which?)
So, no huge story here beyond Neil Patrick Harris doin' stuff, which is something we heartily endorse.
