Neko Case programs TCM tonight
Hey, somebody convened a meeting of the Things The A.V. Club Likes club! Tonight, beginning at 8 p.m. eastern, bewitching singer-songwriter Neko Case will be serving as TCM's Guest Programmer, sitting in with Robert Osborne and talking about four of her favorite movies. And those movies are: Radio Days, A Face In The Crowd, The Third Man and the 1945 version of The Picture Of Dorian Gray. All fine choices. Now, for extra credit, write an essay comparing the narcissism of Lonesome Rhodes with that of Harry Lime, Dorian Gray, Woody Allen, and the protagonist of Case's "Star Witness." You have 30 minutes.
