Netflix announces the arrival of Judd Apatow’s Love in this teaser

It turns out Judd Apatow has no Love (series) for Hulu after all—although initial reports of Apatow’s original comedy series indicated he might produce the show for the streaming company, Netflix has just announced the arrival of Love to its own platform. The 10-episode series stars co-creator Paul Rust (Super Fun Night) and Communitys Gillian Jacobs as Gus and Mickey, respectively. The pair will have to contend with “the exhilarations and humiliations of intimacy, commitment, love and other things they were hoping to avoid,” as well as struggling to fulfill the resolutions that flash across the screen in the teaser, including “be interesting” and “read Infinite Jest”. Gus is reportedly a “nice guy,” while Mickey is a “brazen wild-child,” which probably means she will inspire (or otherwise compel) him to do things outside of his comfort zone. Just take a look at this first-look image, in which she’s clearly pointing him away from the area in which they’re currently standing.

Love has already received a two-season order from Netflix, and will premiere February 19.
