Here’s what’s up in the world of TV for Wednesday, March 12. All times are Eastern.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars (Netflix): Not only has Netflix produced many of its own series (some of them very good), but now it’s gotten into the business of saving other people’s series as well. First there was The Killing—with a fourth season coming soon to a computer near you—and now there’s The Clone Wars, which was unceremoniously dumped by Cartoon Network, with a bunch of already produced episodes hanging in limbo, before Netflix picked it up and made them available. Sonia Saraiya has been going through those episodes and will have thoughts on them for you… sometime today.

Suburgatory (ABC, 8:30 p.m.): Tessa meets her male doppelganger, and he’s somehow not Brandon Nowalk, despite the fact that Brandon Nowalk and Jane Levy have been known to pretend to be each other to fool family members and acquaintances!
The Americans (FX, 10 p.m.): Both Todd VanDerWerff and Genevieve Koski really love tonight’s episode of what’s shaping up to be a season well worth loving. For bonus points, it contains the season’s first unexpected ‘80s song in a musical montage. (OK, it’s actually a ‘70s song. We don’t care.)
Workaholics (Comedy Central, 10 p.m.): Dennis Perkins has already seen tonight’s episode, which is entitled “Beer Heist.” With a title like that, we’re hoping that there’s a scene where the guys have to dangle from the ceiling to hack into the computer system protecting a rare keg.

Mad Men (1 p.m.): What’s On Tonight’s wife didn’t always believe in the magic of Mad Men, but she definitely believed in the first-season finale, “The Wheel.” It made her a convert, and you should check out Todd VanDerWerff’s review as he wraps up coverage of the show’s first year.
ELSEWHERE IN TV CLUB
It’s TV Club 10 week, and that means it’s time for Brandon Nowalk to take a look back at 10 seminal sketches from The State. We know you sketch comedy geeks will like this one—and quibble over Brandon’s choices—but the rest of you might get something out of it, too.
WHAT ELSE IS ON
My 600-lb Life (TLC, 8 p.m.): Once again, TLC bases a series off of turning the lives of the unfortunate into an unrelenting freak show, then acts as if it’s doing so under the guise of “feel-good entertainment.” Just call it Look At The Freaks, Maw! TLC. It’ll be more honest!
Horseplayers (Esquire, 9 p.m.): In case you’ve forgotten, the Esquire Network still exists, and now they have a reality series about guys who bet on horse-racing, we would guess. We actually don’t know, because we didn’t bother looking it up, but the title sure sounds like it.
Law & Order: SVU (NBC, 9 p.m.): If you missed Joshua Alston’s piece on why this season of the show has been a marked improvement, you should go check it out now. See! We can write about shows your parents watch, too!
Nashville (ABC, 10 p.m.): This week’s episode is called “We’ve Got Things To Do,” which is so close to “We’ve Got Magic To Do,” but, alas, we are still several seasons away from Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere being trapped against their will in an homage to Pippin.
The Last Temptation Of Christ (Sundance, 7:30 p.m.): This movie is one of the most beautiful ever made about Jesus Christ, particularly when it comes to contemplating the idea of dying for humanity’s sins. Or, y’know, it’s propaganda for Satan, produced by acolyte, Martin Scorsese. (Satan calls him “Marty.”)
Back To The Future (Encore, 8 p.m.): Here’s another movie about a Marty who may or may not be a devil worshiper.
NHL Hockey: Bruins at Canadiens (NBC Sports, 8 p.m.): Here’s a match-up between two teams who might very well meet in the playoffs soon enough. The Bruins lead their division, but the Canadiens are just behind them in third.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
New Girl (Tuesday): We haven’t seen this. We’re just linking to it because it’s the only review in the system as we write this. Also, Erik Adams used the word “bulldozer” in his tweet about it, and we think the characters should all ride around in bulldozers from now on.
