Netflix has consigned the doomed Murphy family to another season of misery and fucking. F Is For Family star and creator Bill Burr hopped on Twitter today to announce that the series had been renewed for a second season, accompanying the good news with a clip highlighting the animated sitcom’s favorite word:
Based (at least in part) on the stand-up comic, podcast host, and Breaking Bad guest star’s childhood, F Is For Family follows the Murphys—including frustration-prone patriarch Frank (Burr) and his stifled wife Sue (Laura Dern)—as they try to survive the 1970s, a deeply hostile universe, and each other. Fans of the series, and its uncompromising look at the heartbreaking parade of life’s disappointments, will presumably be over the roof (or through the fucking wall, in terms the show would probably use) to learn that there’s more awful, bitter misery to come.
