Dealing with tightly knit, yet incredibly dysfunctional friends can be difficult. Just take it from Billy Eichner’s character in this trailer for the new Netflix series Friends From College. He declares that he’s going to attempt to like the titular pals, given that his boyfriend Max (Fred Savage) is part of their ranks. The events of the show, created by married pair Nick Stoller and Francesca Delbanco, is set in motion when one couple (Keegan-Michael Key and Cobie Smulders) moves back to New York, where the rest of their Harvard buddies reside. Complicating matters even further: Key’s novelist is engaged in a years-long affair with another member of the group (Annie Parisse). Crises, midlife and otherwise, abound. Friends From College arrives July 14.
