Netflix now streaming The Walking Dead, other shows that aren't The Walking Dead

Those who have felt left out of the conversation—the circular, often-contentious conversation—about AMC’s The Walking Dead because they missed its initial run now have another chance to catch up on Netflix, which has just signed a deal to stream all of the show’s prior seasons. Yes, all of the zombie apocalypse drama’s prior, single, six-episode season—though of course, there will be more seasons to come, and many more adventures that involve battling the undead while questioning whether simply surviving is enough to qualify as really living, mostly through the exchanging of grim stares and frustrated shouting. All of these will be made available for streaming right before the premiere of subsequent seasons, which will also involve those things.

Also included in Netflix’s “Hey look, we still have stuff” deal announced today: Episodes of the IFC shows Portlandia and The Increasingly Poor Decisions Of Todd Margaret, plus the reality programs Bridezillas, My Fair Wedding, and Braxton Family Values, in which R&B singer Toni Braxton and her family question whether simply surviving is enough to qualify as really living, mostly through the exchanging of grim stares and frustrated shouting. You’ll love it.
