Netflix orders its next drama about something you shouldn't want to spend 13 straight hours in but will anyway

After enjoying success with trapping people inside prisons, political discussions, and—on a lighter note—towns filled with lesbian necrophiliacs, Netflix has settled on its next, hopefully just as addictive original drama series about things you ostensibly wouldn’t want to spend much time in, but you will anyway. The service just announced an as-yet-untitled show from Damages creators Todd A. Kessler, Daniel Zelman and Glenn Kessler, about a family of adult siblings who end up revealing years of pent-up secrets and psychological trauma when their “black sheep brother” comes home. Said secrets will unfurl across 13 episodes that you shouldn’t watch in one sitting but likely will, glued to “a tightly wound thriller that explores the complex bonds between parents and children, brothers and sisters, and the rivalries, jealousies, and betrayals at the core of every family”—like the one you’re ignoring, because you’re watching this.
