Netflix renews Queer Eye for a third season, sends the Fab Five to Kansas City

Netflix is striking while Antoni is hot, announcing today that, less than a month after the debut of Queer Eye’s second season on the streaming service, it’s already gearing up for season three. The first two seasons of the reality makeover series/pop-cultural therapy session saw the Fab Five traveling across Georgia from a home base in Atlanta, and the third will stay in the Bible Belt—albeit a little farther west in Kansas City, Missouri. (Please, if any Netflix producers are reading this, please don’t pull any more police-related stunts like that fake traffic stop from season one, especially not in Missouri.)

The third season of Queer Eye starts filming this coming Monday, July 16, for a 2019 release. Queer Eye was also just nominated for four Emmys, including Structured Reality Program, Casting, Picture Editing, and Cinematography.
