Netflix renews Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt for a fourth season

Netflix’s commitment to Tina Fey and Robert Carlock remains unbreakable (har har), as the streaming service has just renewed the duo’s rapid-fire comedy series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt for a fourth season. Season three premiered on Netflix last month to generally positive reviews—save for a fumbled attempt at satirizing collegiate activism—from The A.V. Club’s Kayla Kumari Upadhyaya, who wrote of the season premiere: “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt fires off jokes with such speed and confidence that it’s fun to watch no matter what. But the fact that those jokes are fired off by dimensional characters backed with strong emotional storytelling makes it even better.”

A return date for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt has yet to be set.
