Netflix reveals a chilling trailer for Conversations With A Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes

Netflix continues to expand its catalog of original content in a multitude of genres—including the ever popular true crime docuseries. A trailer for the streaming service’s latest docuseries, Conversations With A Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes—based on the book by author Stephen G. Michaud and author, journalist, investigative reporter, and teacher Hugh Aynesworth—was released today, with Bundy’s chilling voice front and center.

Like the book, the series aims to understand the mind of a killer: In the trailer, one can overhear Bundy explain how he targeted his unfortunate victims, even going as far as to call them his “prey.” On his insatiable need to kill, Bundy says, using the third person:

Murder leaving a person of this type hungry…unfulfilled…would also leave him with the obviously irrational belief that, the next time he did it, he would be fulfilled. And the next time he did it, he would be fulfilled. Or the next time he did it, he would be fulfilled.

Prior to Bundy’s execution in 1989, he admitted to killing 30 people, and he’s suspected of killing even more.

Conversations With A Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes will be available to stream on Netflix on January 24.
