Netflix’s Scrotal Recall overcomes its awful name to land a second season

Many TV shows over the years have been sunk by terrible titles (Terriers might still be on if it had been called Beach Dicks), but despite having what could be the worst title ever, Netflix’s Scrotal Recall has just been picked up for a second season. This comes from Variety, which reports that the British sitcom’s next season will be eight episodes long and that it will debut exclusively on Netflix (the first season premiered on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom).

Scrotal Recall stars Johnny Flynn as a guy who finds out he has chlamydia, and has to go back through all of his previous sexual partners in order to let them know about his diagnosis. Along the way, he gets help from his two best friends, who are played by Daniel Ings and Antonia Thomas—with the latter harboring a secret crush on him. Also, the show is reportedly better than its title would suggest, but that probably won’t make it easier when you have to explain to your friends and family why something called Scrotal Recall is in your “Recently Watched” section.
