Neutral Milk Hotel announces its last tour “for the foreseeable future”

Neutral Milk Hotel has announced a run of spring dates that it says will be its “last tour for the foreseeable future.” The group reformed in 2013 and has been playing pretty steadily ever since, but thinks “it’s time to say goodbye for the never ending now” and is extending its “deepest gratitude to all the beautiful people” who came to its shows.

The group also released a message thanking “Ms. Aurora Borealis, Father Foam Horse, and Mr. Valentich for there [sic] collaborative contributions to the “womb rume,” whatever that means. A full list of the group’s upcoming shows is below.
