Before his show Crashing returns in January, Pete Holmes is taking the stage for a new HBO stand-up special, Dirty Clean, which finds the comedian “confronting personal truths about the mechanisms of consciousness, the afterlife and Elon Musk, as well as sharing a few thoughts on being a new dad.” Ahead of the special’s debut tonight, we sat down with Holmes at L.A. kid emporium The Reckless Unicorn to talk about fatherhood, and why the idea of babies is insane.
