On the most recent installment of Carpool Karaoke, James Corden let newly licensed driver Lady Gaga get behind the wheel of his car. We’d be more worried about safety if we weren’t sure that very little actual driving goes on in these segments. (Remember that time Missy Elliott just magically appeared in a car?) There is, however, some very real singing as Gaga goes full showboat on a number of her tracks.
In this particularly profane incarnation, Gaga belts, riffs, and harmonizes. She also teaches Corden some dance moves, and informs him that the gibberish at the beginning of “Bad Romance” is actually an allusion to the word “romance.” Well, that makes sense. They mostly stick to Gaga tracks, however, there is some O-Town randomly thrown in. Who can forget the ejaculation classic “Liquid Dreams?”
