The first teaser for Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, like many first teasers, was all about setting a tone and getting the movie’s name (a lengthy one in this case) out there. Now, thanks to the MTV Movie Awards, we have our first proper look at this prequel/spinoff of the Harry Potter series, and it actually tells us a few things about the movie. That initial teaser spent very little time on Eddie Redmayne’s Newt Scamander, a young wizard who is very interested in fantastic beasts and where one could find them, but this trailer not only give us a proper introduction to the guy we’ll be following for three movies, it also shows us the (literally) magical world of 1920s New York. Plus, there’s even a big name drop that might be enough to get Harry Potter fans excited all on its own.

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them will be in theaters on November 18.
