New literary journal features Fleet Foxes' Robin Pecknold, Bonnie "Prince" Billy, West Memphis 3's Damien Echols

Unified Field Collective, a Fleet Foxes-affiliated artsy-fartsy organization, will release its first literary journal on Sept. 18. Only 500 copies of the 60-page tome are being produced, and each comes with a 10-inch clear vinyl pressing of tracks by Fleet Foxes’ Robin Pecknold, Bonnie “Prince” Billy, and Department Of Eagles. The journal’s theme is “transition,” and selections include an entry from recently freed West Memphis 3 member Damien Echols, an excerpt from Gloria Steinem’s new book, and artwork from noted rock photographer Autumn DeWilde. Proceeds from the sale of the book—which is available at a very select list of record and bookstores, as well as online—go to creative writing education organization 826 National.
