New Low album coming in September, hear a new track now
Low, the Duluth, Minnesota band that put the slow in slowcore before doing a whole bunch of other awesome stuff over the past 21 (!) years, just announced the release of Ones And Sixes, its eleventh studio album. Every new Low record generally signals a gentle change in direction, and this one signals a veer toward the vaguely electronic, recalling at times the band’s 2000 collaboration with the British duo Spring Heel Jack. The first taste of Ones And Sixes, “No Comprende,” is below. Low will tour extensively after the album’s September 11 release; dates can be found right here. And hey, here’s Low covering Toto’s “Africa” for A.V. Undercover.
