New Pornographers' A.C. Newman announces new solo album, North American tour

A.C. Newman, frontman of The New Pornographers, is planning to continue his solo career with a new album this fall. The album follows Newman’s debut solo effort, 2009’s Get Guilty and—while the title and exact release date for the Matador release are still under wraps—dates for the accompanying North American tour have been set up. He will be joined on the last leg of the jaunt by L.A. foursome Harriet,  known for its cinematic Americana ballads.
