New Sigur Ros and Beck discs imminent
You've probably heard rumblings about the new Beck disc, which still has no title and yet will probably be in stores sometime in the next few weeks. (You can stream the new track "Chemtrails" at beck.com)
In just-as-exciting news, Sigur Ros just announced the June 24 release of Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust (English translation: with a buzz in our ears we play endlessly), and you can download a new track, "Gobbledigook," at sigurros.com. On first listen (to the track, not the full disc), it's incredibly different—sounds a little like Radiohead's weirdest moments, which makes sense. Go check it out. Also: The disc will feature one track sung in English. I can't tell if it's this track because, uh, it's Sigur Ros. Oh, and the disc features butts on the cover. Huh-huh.
