Sun Kil Moon has a new record coming this summer. Universal Themes, the followup to last year’s much-ballyhooed Benji, is due June 2 via Caldo Verde Records. A mere eight tracks long, Universal Themes features Sonic Youth’s Steve Shelley on drums and will no doubt be accompanied by both a bunch of press and a tour, thus giving frontman Mark Kozelek ample opportunity to say all sorts of dumb and shitty things.
