New trailer for The Man Who Killed Don Quixote actually makes it seem like a real movie

We’re still not entirely convinced that Terry Gilliam’s decades-long attempt to make a movie based on Don Quixote is really happening, but every trailer we see for The Man Who Killed Don Quixote provides slightly more evidence that the movie is really going to happen. Just look at the video up there: It has actors, including Adam Driver and Jonathan Pryce! It has sets! It has filmed footage from the movie! It has sound and lightning and a weird meta twist about the making of a movie about Don Quixote! That’s basically all you need for a real movie, so all it’s really missing now is a post-credits stinger that ties it in with the Marvel universe and there’ll be no denying that The Man Who Killed Don Quixote is a real movie that Terry Gilliam really managed to make.

We’ll know just how real the movie is when it premieres at Cannes in May.
