One of the great joys of The Venture Bros. is the way it constantly introduces totally bizarre characters that are usually either based around a goofy pun or are parodies of existing famous people/superheroes. Who can forget Truckules? Or Catclops? Or Brown Widow? The show’s best episodes are full of ridiculous stuff like that, and this new trailer leans pretty hard on the idea of crazy characters with weird names being really funny. Thankfully, creators Doc Hammer and Jackson Publick haven’t lost their touch, as indicated by new faces like The Fallen Archer, Think Tank, and a Captain America-lookalike whose name seems pretty obvious once you see his costume.
It’s been a long time since the last Venture Bros. season aired, so make sure to check out Henchman 21’s recap of season five if you’re wondering why any of the weird things in this trailer are happening.
