Mick Harvey, a longtime collaborator with Nick Cave going back to their time together in the Birthday Party and the punk-era Boys Next Door, has left Cave's backing band The Bad Seeds, Pitchfork is reporting. Why? Well, it's "a variety of personal and professional reasons." This follows the 2003 departure of Blixa Bargeld, who had played with Cave for 20 years.
