Nick Offerman has some thoughts on Oprah’s new list of favorite things
Just last week, Oprah Winfrey released her annual list of “favorite things,” an overpriced cornucopia of aspirational lifestyle items the billionaire media mogul/Weight Watchers spokesperson would like you to buy. This year, the list is hosted by Amazon, and includes items like a faux-fur vest for dogs, DVDs of Oprah and Deepak Chopra leading transcendental meditation sessions, and a sad T-shirt that reads, “I wish you looked at me the way you look at your phone.” And while the list is funny enough on its own, Jimmy Fallon enlisted one of last night’s Tonight Show guests, noted curmudgeon Nick Offerman, to weigh in on the inanity of Oprah’s big picks. Below, Offerman runs through some of his least favorite items on the list, taking the ex-talk show host to task for encouraging people to spend $54 on plants in a jar.
