Like Randy Jackson before her, Nicki Minaj is taking her valuable advice and leaving American Idol. The “Super Bass” rapper says she only ever intended to be on one season of the show and is allegedly leaving to do more touring and record a new album, though it’s worth noting that being on a regular TV show hasn’t stopped Adam Levine from being goddamn everywhere.
Minaj reportedly fought with fellow judge Mariah Carey all season long, even recently throwing shade at her on Twitter.
There’s no word yet on what will happen to Carey and other remaining judge Keith Urban, though it’s been rumored that they’re both bailing on the sinking show as well.
