Nicolas Cage channeled Bruce Lee when preparing for Mandy

The only image we’ve seen from Nicolas Cage’s upcoming film Mandy is a close-up of the actor’s face frozen in a wide-eyed grimace and covered in blood. That gaze is intense, magnetic, and partly inspired by Bruce Lee. At the Sundance premiere of the film, we sat down with Cage and director Panos Cosmatos to talk about their inspirations for the project.
